OVERALL ROLE

Sourcing suppliers as per business demands & product. Coordinating with suppliers and distributors for supply of products. Negotiate price and analyze the quality. Coordination with internal departments; sales, finance, and marketing. Monitor cargo/transportation movement processes from vendors to customers and direct them to the right destination to ensure the required products deliver at the right time in the right amount and at the right place.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·            On time purchasing & internal and external coordination.

·            Sourcing suppliers as per business demands & product needs.

·            Keeping supplier information & internal communication confidential.

·            Update and maintaining supplier records & catalogues & supply agreements.

·            Coordinate with Account Payable to ensure payment are made according to payment terms and agreements.

·            Monitor supplier performance and recommend appropriate action to take.

·            Commit with suppliers in respecting delegation of authority to optimize the commercial terms and the conditions (price, date, payment conditions, etc.).

·            Expedite purchasing orders to ensure that goods or services are provided in agreed condition.

·            Ensure that appropriate quotations are always received for purchases.

·            Create, Register and maintain global vendor and local suppliers list in system and always keep it updated with all of the information required.

·            Manage the process of scheduling the order deliveries and validate them accurately according to vendor reports and other documents and ensure all transportations delivered.

·            Monitor cargo/transportation movement (Global/ Local Logistics) processes from vendors to customers and direct them to the right destination to ensure the required products deliver at the right time in the right amount and at the right place.

·            Find transportation companies, drivers and Crane suppliers also negotiate prices of deliveries and product movements from Vendors and Company warehouses to our customers anywhere in Iraq/ Umm Qasir to anywhere in Iraq.

·            Prepare and maintain weekly report for all different orders and the status of the order.

·            Support the communication between the marketing, sales especially (Wire Mesh product), and senior management.

·            Carry out administrative duties linked to supplier catalogues, assisting with the tender/quote process, trial orders, visit factories, prepare reports and enquiries, printing supplier lists etc.

·            Effectively follow the internal control standards.

·            Managing packing checklist and coordinate with suppliers for faulty products.

·            Maintenance of records for supply agreements, consignment stock agreements, supplier catalogues.

  • Business Administration or related field 

  • Professional Experience

  • 1 to 2 years in related job

  • Language Requirement

  • Good Speaking/Writing/Reading Skills in  

  • ENGLISH, ARABIC & KURDISH and TURKISH is a plus

  • Technical Know How
